Shilpi Anil Kumar Dutta, himself a landscape and portrait painter, writer, printer and publisher, devoted the later part of his life for the cause of art education. He had the vision and dream of a platform to serve the society through art activities and founded Academy of Creative Art.

This was done at personal expences by visiting each dignitary and seeking their cooperation of 2 to 3 patient sittings of 2 hours each.
